He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Aine McLaughlin; his children, Donagh, Fiona McLaughlin (Leonardo Villalón), Cheikh, Ignacio, Monica, Declan McLaughlin and Bronagh Nowak (Peter Nowak); his grandchildren, Millicent, John and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Beckett, Jamil and Kaden; his brother Patrick McLaughlin (Northern Ireland) of Ballycastle; his parents, Patrick Joseph McLaughlin and Helena Leonard; and his sister Mairead.
