We bid farewell to Elmer Clayton (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 25, 2025 at the age of 93. Elmer touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Randolph Clayton and Georgiana McCulloch Clayton; and his siblings, Bernice, Audrey Mae, Pansy, Joyce, Ed, Frank, Emmerson and Velford (Nook).
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Mitchell Clayton; his daughter Cynthia Clayton Branton (David); his grandchildren, Andrew Branton (Bekah) and Rebecca Blanchard (Chris); his great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Klay, Adysen and Korbin Branton; his stepdaughter Kathryn Phillips McKenney (Dan); and his stepgrandchildren, Kate Aquino (Rafael) and Dylan McKenney.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
