Flora Jean Handy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2025, at the age of 70, Flora Jean Handy of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Handy and Leathia Jackson Handy; and her brothers, James Handy and Aaron Jackson. She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Handy (Katherine), Ellis Handy (Shelonda) of Zachary, LA and Corey Handy of Baton Rouge, LA; her siblings, Johnson Handy, Rosa M. Cage and Dorothy H. Alexander of Baton Rouge, LA; her son-in-law Nolan Veal Sullivan; and her sister-in-law Gloria Handy of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren an 10 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
