He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Barbier, Jr. and Mary Lydia LeBlanc Barbier; and his siblings, Jeanette Lemoine and Alvin Barbier. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Soulier, Norris Barbier (Alma) and William Barbier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenoaks Funeral Home (9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenoaks Memorial Park (9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815).
