She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Ruffin Sr. and Annie Mae Ruffin; her sisters, Mary and Martha Ruffin; her sister-in-law Lillie B. Ruffin; and her brothers, James Ruffin Sr., Larry Ruffin and Jimmy Ruffin.
She is survived by: her daughter Anisha Valentine (Adrian Valentine, Jr.); and her siblings, Rosie Ruffin, Nellie Bridgewater (Alex Bridgewater), Willie Ruffin and Levi Ruffin Jr. (Latonja Ruffin). She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
