We announce the death of Geraldine Chustz Crochet of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in New Roads, Louisiana, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 87. Geraldine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby P. Crochet; her parents, Lillian Chustz and Herman Chustz; and her brothers, Winston and Greg Chustz.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Crochet (Vicki), Scotty Crochet (Paula) and Sherri Crochet McCarroll (Kevin); her grandchildren, David Crochet (Chelsey), Tori Bennett (Brandon), Erin Cheneval (Colby), Chelsea Crochet and Bryce Crochet (Madeleine); her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Sutton, Christian and Caleb; her sisters, Diane Grady (Tom) and Elaine Legasse; and her sisters-in-law, Janelle Chustz and Keeley Chustz.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Niland's Funeral Home (210 Westend Dr, New Roads, LA 70760). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1252 N Acadian Thruway, Baton Rouge, LA 70802).
