Gordon L. Bargas Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon L. Bargas Jr. (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon L. Bargas Sr. and Dorothy Holley Bargas; and his son Charles Wilton Bargas. He is survived by: his wife Marie "Mimi" Gary Bargas; his children, Gordon "Trey" Bargas, III (Valerie) and Dorothy "Dottie" Bargas Roesler (Greg); his grandchildren, Briggs, Anna-Marie, Reed Bargas and Grant Roesler; and his brother Al Bargas (Carlisa). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and their spouses.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Rabenhorst Funeral Home (825 Government St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
