It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Edward Davis Sr. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Davis; his daughters, Tia Marie and Nikki Ruth Davis; and his sisters, Yvonne Warren and Catherine Atkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Tiko (Keishanna) of Pearland and Gordon Jr. of Central, Louisiana; his siblings, Melba King, Ora Montigue of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Rudolph Davis (Janet) of Baton Rouge and Robert Montigue (Gail) of Newport News, Virginia; and his close friend Larry King. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
