She was predeceased by: her parents, Sallie Rowland Smith and Hugh McGeever Smith; her husband J. B. "Doc" McLaughlin, Jr.; and her son Joseph Bryant McLaughlin, III. She is survived by: her daughters, Gretchen Anne McLaughlin Nelson (late Dean Nelson) of American Falls and Denise McLaughlin Tucker (late Richard Tucker) of Baton Rouge; her grandchildren, Sallye Deanne, S. C., Nancye LaFay (Jacques), Susan Stanley (Tim), Matthew Nelson Las Vegas (Holly), Brian Tucker Baton Rouge (Jackie) of Nevada, Jill Tucker Doepp, Scott Nelson (Crystal) and Blake Nelson (Paula); her great grandchildren, Anthony Podyma, Patrick Stanley, Nicholas Nelson, Shawn Stanley, Sloan Nelson, Harrison Nelson, Caleb LaFay, Pieper Nelson, Gracie Nelson, Averee Nelson, Willow Nelson, Caroline, Christopher Tucker, Abby, Emma Doepp, Audrey, George and Mary Kate Mackey; and her great great grandchild Ruby Nelson.
