He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Littrell Simpson and Carolyn Neal Simpson of Houston. He is survived by: his daughters, Emily Grace Simpson of Ada Oklahoma and Annabel Carolyn Simpson of Houston; his brother Neal Allen Simpson (Mary Ann) of Houston; his cousin James Henry Simpson III (Mary Claire) of Atlanta; and his daughter Camille Miller Cavin (Conner Cavin).
