He is survived by: his children, Karen Marshall (Glenn) of Baton Rouge, LA, Velma Nash Jarreau (Milton) of Baton Rouge, LA, Herman James O'Steen Jr. (Rochell) of Baton Rouge, LA, Shannee Quiett and Karisha Quiett of Baton Rouge, LA; his sister Janice Dunbar of Chicago, IL; his uncle John Ray O'Steen of Houston, TX; his aunts, Terry Lynn O'Steen, Vera O'Steen-Hall of Alexandria, LA and Linda Marie Scott of Saluda, VA; and his close friend Marcy Cherry Wright. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
