It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ingeborg Schneider Humphreys (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Ingeborg farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ingeborg is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her son Wayne; and her close friend Sasha. She is survived by: her children, Sieglinda Shiew, Douglas Humphreys, Kenneth Humphreys (Nancy), Robert Humphreys, Jr., Geoffrey Humphreys (Jolene) and Inge Duran (Horatio). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to a local Food Bank.
