It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Joshua Magee Greer of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jennifer Elizabeth Greer and Randall Franklin Greer; and his grandparents, Franklin, Beth Magee, James and Eleanor Greer.
He is survived by: his parents, Jan Greer and Randy Greer of Pelican, LA; and his children, James, Vivienne Greer of Baton Rouge, LA and Jamie Hatcher. He is also survived by the mother of his children; and many cousins and friends.
The family requests that any donations in memory of Josh be given to DeSoto Parish Animal Services, 404 Liberty Lane, Grand Cane, LA 71032; Logansport Methodist Church (Building is Believing Fund), PO box 177, Logansport LA 71049; Pelican Methodist Church, Pelican, LA 71063; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
