He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John E. Bryant and Dr. Mary Bryant; and his siblings, Dr. Larry Bryant, Dr. Danny Bryant, Patricia Bryant Boudreaux and Robert Bryant.

He is survived by: his wife Tammy Triche Bryant; his son Phillip Triche (Angie); his grandchildren, Cody Triche (Alyssa) and Casie Triche Ross (Charlie); his great grandchildren, Kruz, Kamryn, Jordyn and Daisy; his brothers, Paul Bryant and Tommy Bryant (Emma); and his brother-in-law Nilton Triche Jr. (Bobbi). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins extended family members, dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given, that will be used by the family to honor John's life and memory.
