He is survived by: his wife Barbara Calhoun Smith; his sons, Michael Smith (Heather) and Patrick Smith (Teri); his grandchildren, Laura Weiss (Zachary), Claire Bacon (Steven), Sarah Smith, Ethan Smith, Max Smith and Tyler Smith; and his great grandchild Mason Bacon.
