It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joycelyn Lynette Thomas (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Thomas and Delphine Thomas; her siblings, Kendell Robinson Sr. and Sandra Hicks; and her grandson Joseph Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Shenekia Alford of Baton Rouge and Joseph Thomas of Baton Rouge; her siblings, Rosalind, Carla and Ronald Thomas of Baton Rouge, LA.; her aunt Mary White; her uncle Alvin Thomas of Baton Rouge; her close friends, Gwendolyn Kelly and Sandra Bordelon; and her daughter Nakia Joseph. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 575 Education St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
