Juanita McGregor Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita McGregor of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Dudley McGregor; and her parents, Juanita Howell Holden and George Buffington Holden. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Holly McGregor Carruth (Keith); her grandsons, Michael Carruth (Alyzza) and Gray Carruth (Renee); her great grandchildren, Aleiya and Ashton; her sister Ann Holden Cooper; her great-niece Maggie Lancaster; and also Darby Lancaster.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (2250 Main St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Parish Hall (224 N 4th St, Baton Rouge, LA 70801). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kleinpeter Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Juanita's name may be made to The Baton Rouge Area Foundation (100 North Street, Suite 900, Baton Rouge, LA 70802).
