She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Marlette Burck and Dr. Cyril B. Burck. She is survived by: her husband Clayton Fenton Rutledge; her sister Martha Shackelford (Giles); her children, William G. Shackelford III (Christine), Elizabeth Shackelford DuGan (Andy) and Scott M. Shackelford; her brother Cyril B. Burck Jr.; her sister-in-law Pamela Richmond Burck; her nieces and nephews, Christian Richmond Burck (Jennifer), Robin Marlette Burck and Elizabeth Burck Guiza (Timothy); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Stella Shackelford, Julian Richmond Burck, Henry Labourdette Burck, Edward "Teddy" Burck, Hailey Elizabeth Guiza, Powers Clark Guiza and Mallory Dale Guiza.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Life Fellowship (10210 Baringer Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70809). A reception will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
