It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay W Smith (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Russell Smith. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Adrian Russell Smith (Jessica) of Jackson, Lauren Hensgens (Scott) of Baton Rouge, Gretchen Q of Baton Rouge and Petersen (Preston) of Baton Rouge; and her grandchildren, Olivia Ansley Smith, Luke Russell Smith, Samuel Covington Smith, Caroline Scott Hensgens, George Nikolaus Hensgens, Henry Russell Hensgens, Thomas Claude Q (Petersen), Adele Lauren Q (Petersen) and Helen Claire Q (Petersen). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church (2025 Stuart Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70808). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
