He was predeceased by: his father Dyke Martin; and his grandparents, Helen, James Alton Rockhold, Curt and Armour Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Soileau Martin; his sons, Mark Steven Martin, Jr. of Lafayette, Jacob Martin of Houma and Gregory Martin of Baton Rouge; his mother Sally Ann Martin of Baton Rouge; and his siblings, David Martin of Baton Rouge, Jeff Martin (Katie) of Lafayette, Shalane Crick (Chris) of Baton Rouge, Cindy Featherston (Carter) of Covington, Scott Martin (Karen) of Buda and Bryan Martin (Leslie) of Covington. He is also survived by 22 nephews and nieces, and four great-nephews and great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's name may be made to the American Lung Association.
