She was predeceased by: her parents, Adina Rodney DeCongé and Alphonse Francis DeCongé, Jr.; her husband Roy F. Watson; and her siblings, Elnora Hutcherson, Albertha Bartholomew, Regina Bartholomew, Laura Broussard, Estelle Neal, Alphonse DeCongé II, Nolen DeCongé and Alvin DeCongé.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Devonseldet Foy McGowen, Lateef Rhodes, Roy F. Watson, Jr. and Wallace Vigee; and her siblings-in-law, Edgar Williams, Delrine DeCongé, Brenda Durden and Gwen Doaks. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2250 Main St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
