She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Garon and Noelie Garon; her husband Vern Anthony Patin, Sr.; her grandsons, Justin Anthony and Vern Anthony Patin III; and her siblings, Ceola St. Amant, Marie Mankowski, Jeanne St. Amant, Gladys Garon, Shirley Ladmirault, Harry Garon, Phillip Garon, Alex Hebert and Ernest Hebert.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda P. Honoré (Brent S. Honoré) of Baton Rouge, Vern Anthony "Tony" Patin, Jr. (Monica R. Patin) of Baton Rouge and Don L. Patin (Kaye M. Patin) of Shreveport; and her grandchildren, Brittany H. Thomas, Stephanie H. Sanchez, Katherine H. Romig, Anna H. Rucks, Mary Ashton H. Katz, Leslie P. Phillips, Andrew C. Patin and Trish P. Barber. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (445 Marquette Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70806). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missionaries of Charity in Mildred's honor.
