He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Tugwell and Alice L. Tugwell. He is survived by: his wife Edith Díaz-Tugwell; and his children, John (Jacquie), Andrew, Bert, Fernando (Gabriela), Daniel (Elia), Tandi, Alice, Marcela, Andrea and Naviky. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rabenhorst Funeral Home & Crematory East (11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Catholic Church (7808 St George Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70809).
