With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ned Paul Rabalais (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), born in Plaucheville, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2026 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Rabalais and Rose Lemoine Rabalais; and his siblings, Ryan Rabalais, Donald Rabalais, Nedra Lemoine Merey and Terrance "Terry" Rabalais.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Wright Rabalais; his children, Melinda Rabalais Newman (Steven) and James "Jim" Rabalais (Jill); his grandchildren, Matthew Rabalais (Courtney), Perry Newman and Jessica Rabalais; and his great grandchildren, Marley and Asa Rabalais.
