He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Diane Magee Altazan; and his parents, Elward Roman "Crack" Altazan Sr. and Lucille Elizabeth Gautreaux Altazan. He is survived by: his daughters, Norah Dee Altazan and Diane Marie Altazan Richard; and his son-in-law Cody Matthew Richard. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
