He is survived by: his wife Mardell Sarradet Loup; his children, Randall Paul Loup (Hayley Gassie Loup) and Toni Loup Maurer (David); his grandchildren, Mason Reed Maurer (Catherine Bonaventure Maurer), MaKenzie Blair Maurer, Reed Paul Loup, Ryder James Loup, Maxwell David-Ray Maurer and Harper Mae Loup; his great grandchild Myles Reed Maurer; his sister Bonnie Loup Cotten; his sister-in-law Patsy L. Loup; and his nieces and nephews, Kurt Loup (Wendi), Kenny Loup (Jackie), Johnette Cotten, David Cotten (Tara) and Michael Cotten (Meagan).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (402 S Kirkland St, Brusly, LA 70719). A Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ochsner Health Heart Failure Program.
