He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry Lantz and Ruby Ophelia Wales Lantz; and his grandparents, George Alfred, Minnie Fife Wales, George Homer and Lillie Carter Lantz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rhonda L. Edwards (David), Ralph J. Lantz of Port Aransas, TX and Reid A. Lantz (Tanya); his son Nicholas Lantz of Dallas, TX.; and his close friend TJoe Miguez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
