It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Chapman Westervelt (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Christopher Dippel. She is survived by: her children, Tealy Dippel Hewgley (Taylor) of Memphis, John Christopher Dippel Jr. (Maureen) of Baton Rouge and Parker Westervelt Dippel (April) of Lafayette; her siblings, Paul "Westy" Taulman Westervelt Jr. (Megan) of Covington, Thomas Parker Westervelt of New Orleans, Herbert Francis Duvic III (Marguerite), Emile Scott Duvic and Eugenie Duvic Suggs (Robert); and her grandchildren, John Christopher Dippel III, William Haik Dippel, Madeline Tufts Dippel, Frances Cecile Hewgley, Hazel Jane Hewgley, Addison Marie Dixon and Tristan Leonard Dixon.
