With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sam A. Moran of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2026 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his daughter Sharon Moran; his parents, Mae Cockerham Moran and Sam J. Moran; and his brothers, Jerry, Robert and Larry Moran.
He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Moran (Marlene) of Little Rock, AR, Phillip Moran (Angela) of Osage, AR, Michael (Susan) of Dallas, TX and Sarah Moran Nevels (John) of Kilian, LA; his son Steve (Angel); his grandchildren, Alisha Manning, Jason Manning and Brittany; and his nephew Robert "Bobby" Moran. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
