She was predeceased by: her parents, Prince Jones and Octavia Jones; her sisters, Terry Jones and Yvonne Bynum; and her grandson Robert Overby.

She is survived by: her daughter Leslie C. Overby-Allen; her granddaughter Kylée Overby-Allen; and her friends, Scarlett Walker and Prophetess Mary.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winnfield Funeral Home (7221 Plank Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70807). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
