It is with sadness that the passing of Seth John Matherne of Baton Rouge, Louisiana is shared. Seth, born on August 27, 1973 in Gramercy, Louisiana, passed away on September 8, 2026. He is survived by: his daughter Hannah Kindleberger; his granddaughter Delilah; his parents, Robert A. Matherne (Loretta) and Margaret Matherne (Mark Meyers); his sisters, Rebecca Grob (Neal), Laura Matherne and Jessamyn Linden (Vic); and his stepsiblings, Kyle Christen, Lydia Kinler (Drauzin) and Nicole Woods (Ryan).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (15405 US-90, Paradis, LA 70080). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (343 Down the Bayou Rd, Des Allemands, LA 70030).
