She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Jackson and Theresa Thomas Jackson; her grandson Jonathan P. Richard Jr.; her siblings, Bernadette "Bern" M. Jackson, Esther A. Jackson, Erika L. Jackson and Rev. John "Gerald" F. Jackson (Errol Jackson); her nephew Patrick Davis; and her godparents, Wilson Jeanpierre, Sr. and Florence.
She is survived by: her son Jonathan P. Richard Sr.; her grandchildren, Jon'yren and Louis Richard; and her sister Iris Jackson Madere.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament St. Joan of Arc C. C. (8321 Burthe St, New Orleans, LA 70118). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Metairie, LA.
