With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Bradley Nettles in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Clarks, Louisiana, who passed away on August 23, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Don Bradley and Henry "Cassie" Nettles; and her daughter Charlene Whiddon. She is survived by: her siblings, Carolyn Pope, Clifford Lee Allen and Richard Allen; her daughters, Sharon Sanchez (Russell) and Sheila Hogan (Danny); her grandchildren, Nathan Whiddon (Erica), Dr. Rebecca Whiddon (Isaac Marin-Valencia), Allison Martin (Andrew), Dr. Adam Hogan (Jennifer), Aaron Hogan (Jency) and Bridgette Edwards (Tyler); and her son-in-law Terry Whiddon. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
