With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney Sue McEwen-Langston (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), who passed away on January 27, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney McEwen and Winnie McEwen; her parents-in-law, Dewey and Myrtis Langston; her siblings, Aubrey McEwen, Bobbie McEwen Boyd Myers and Glenda Rae McEwen Wilson; her brothers-in-law, JP Boyd, Gary Wilson and Don Barlow; and her great grandchild Baby Foster.
She is survived by: her husband Nolan M. Langston; her daughters, LaWanda L. Foster (Ricky) and Pamela Langston-Vanderpluym (John); and her siblings, Mary Barlow of Braxton, MS, Harold McEwen (Beverly) of McCall Creek, MS and Jimmy McEwen (Nanette) of Jayess, MS. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
