He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Tuuri (Schnitzer) and Arthur Tuuri. He is survived by: his wife Georgianna; his daughters, Rachel Tuuri (Aaron Griffith), Rebecca Tuuri (Steve Kingsbury) and Sarah Coleman; his grandchildren, Miles, Peyton, Drew, Helen Coleman, Maddi and Luke Kingsbury; and his siblings, Janet, Mary-Sue, Ann, Bill and Tom. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
