With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tara Anne Pleasant Saxon in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, James Pleasant and Corky Pleasant of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her son John Saxon (Alyssa) of The Woodlands; her grandchildren, Lillian Grace, James Preston and Brady Grey Saxon; her children, Collin Saxon (Chasity Bass) of Prairieville, Avaa and Emery; her brother Anthony Pleasant (Shawn) of Marthaville; her sibling's children, Madison Elisabeth and William Anthony Pleasant; and her grandmother Barbara Winn Ruggiero of Marthaville, Louisiana..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457). A rosary will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Minor Basilica (145 Church St, Natchitoches, LA 71457).
