We announce the death of Vatche Mihran Naljayan (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 74. Vatche will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mihran Naljayan (Loucine Naljayan) and Loucine Naljayan; and his brother Vartan Naljayan. He is survived by: his wife Colette Naljayan; his children, Mihran Naljayan, Loucine Brumley and Mher Naljayan; his grandchildren, Victor, Layla, Isabelle and Taron; and his siblings, Vahe Naltchayan, Azniv Maserejian and Zepure Pashalian.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Garabed Armenian Orthodox Church (6208 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Garabed Armenian Orthodox Church.
