With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Walter Loclon Smith III (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Loclon Smith, Jr. and Adeline Landry Smith; and his brother-in-law John Lambremont. He is survived by: his wife Carol Lambremont Smith; his sons, Bradford Loclon Smith (Haylie Nola Smith) and Matthew Benjamin Smith (Leah Waters Smith); his grandchildren, Bradford Loclon Smith, II, Collin Ruth Smith, Allyson Marie Smith, Caroline May Smith and Annie Jane Smith; his siblings, Jan Smith and Ray Smith (Carolyn Smith); his sisters-in-law, Suzanne Lambremont (Rob Jesson) and Barbara Peters (Warren); and his nephews, John Lambremont, Jr., Chad Smith, Paul Lambremont (Sarah Lambremont Christakis), Lauren Peters Mitchell, Ryne Smith (Elizabeth Call) and Lewis Peters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Community Bible Church (8354 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70809).
In lieu of flowers, Walter said he would appreciate any donations be made to the Community Bible Church Missions Fund.
