We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2025, at the age of 39, Whitney N. West of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Whitney may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lisa F. Humphrey; and her grandmother Margaret L. Stanford. She is survived by: her aunt Rebecca Cook (late Nathan Cook) of Michigan; her sisters, Bethany Jones (Billy Jones) of Texas and Brittany Humphrey of Arkansas; her nieces, Raegan and Kennedy Jones; and her fiancé Christopher Knox.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holland Chapel AME Church (700 W Iowa St, Dermott, AR 71638).
