We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Zellie Turner of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Isola, Mississippi. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Turner Sr. and Lucinda Alcorn (Spears); her stepmother Lynell Turner (Mama Nell); her children, Marcheva Turner, Tyrone and Luke Turner; her grandson Jazmon Olinde II; and her pet Maddie.
She is survived by: her children, Jazmon Olinde (Kimberly), Ardia and Kedra Olinde; her grandchildren, Jozlyn, Journee Olinde, Karlon, Jalen and Jaren Olinde; and her pet Triston Turner. She is also survived by three brothers, and six sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home (1553 Wooddale Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
