It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin C. Wood of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Angus Bouie Wood and Arzilla Wood; his wife Shirley Harrington Wood; and his brothers, Merwin Dale Wood and William'Bill'Lloyd Wood.

He is survived by : his sons, Barry Neal Wood (Carol) of Metairie, LA and Benjamin Jody Wood (Sherry) of Terrytown, LA; his grandchildren, Adam Wood Little (Casey), Brittney Wood Hardouin (JJ), Danielle Albritten Maruschack (Brad), Trey Albritten (Bess) and Christopher Litton (Grace); and his great grandchildren, Abigail Maruschak, Noah Marushak, Grayson Albritten, Wyatt Little, Abram Albritten, Chandler Litton, Noelle Litton and Reed Litton. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
