It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bradburn Virgil Buras Sr. (Belle Chasse, Louisiana), who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Buras and Gladys Bowers Buras; his wife Betty Marie Landry Buras; his great grandchild Charlie Petersen; and his son-in-law Dan Flaharty.

He is survived by: his children, Liz Buras-Flaharty, Brad Buras, Jr., Benny Buras, Sr. (Rhonda), Sherald Buras (Jane), Sharon Serpas (Wayne) and Smokey Buras (Mickey); his grandchildren, Terrell Flaharty (Angie), Wayne Serpas, Jr. (Lisa), Trena Flaharty (Zach), Brad Buras, III (Hope), Farrah Petersen (Joe), Nick Serpas (Andrea), Benny Buras, Jr. (Lauren), Jessica Head (Brandon), William Buras, Morgan Buras and Ian Buras; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Ethan, Wayne III, Emily, Brad IV, Ella, Xavier, Eleah, Easton, Roman, Kate, Claire, June, Trey, Lily and Benjamin. He is also survived by numerous in-laws and many dear friends.
