He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Comeaux and Leza Soileau; and his siblings, Dennis Comeaux, Kenneth Comeaux and Jennie Comeaux-Wieden.

He is survived by: his siblings, Jack E. Comeaux (Sue), Rosetta Comeaux-Bonedona (Vincent), Dean Comeaux (Kelly) and Sandra Comeaux-Busbee (David); his sons, James P. Comeaux (Rachael) and Jack Comeaux; his grandchildren, Derek Comeaux (Candace) and Coryn Comeaux-Butter (Jeremy); his great grandchild Emmi Jade Comeaux; his stepgreat-grandsons, Hayden and Marley; and his close friend April Marie Delaune. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family requires that all guests wear a mask to attend services.
