She is survived by: her brother George Boyd (Ethel) of Olmstead, Illinois; her son Richard Pate (Kris Pate) of La Porte; and her grandchildren, Ericka Porter (Chris) of Portland, Rosemary Thomas (Quintin) of New Orleans, Taylor Pate of Portland, Keith Fincher of Chicago, Kesha Pate of Chicago, RJ Pate (Sara) of Chicago and Kaitlyn Pate of Michigan City. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
