She was predeceased by: her husband Etienne Paul Thomas, Jr.; her daughter Cheryl Narcisse Page; her grandchildren, Nalon Narcisse and Kisha Bassett; her parents, Eugene Barthelemy, and Irma Barthelemy, Sr.; her siblings, Irma Barthelemy, Alma Jenkins, Leona Narcisse, Eugene Barthelemy, Jr., Thomas Barthelemy, Chris Barthelemy, Joseph Barthelemy and Oliver Barthelemy; and her godchildren, Peter Narcisse and Carol Ann Encalade.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Bassett (Ronald), Allen Thomas (Sheila), Robin Thomas, Virgiland Williams, Rockell Thomas, Leland Thomas, Portia Thomas (Steven) and Zina Pinkney (Conrad); her siblings, Simon Barthelemy and Mercedes Guerin; and her goddaughter Mia Johnson. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
