He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Williams, and Victoria Williams, Sr.; his stepdaughter Denise Mercadel; and his sister Penny Viola. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thompson Williams; his children, Mickeria Sr., Trenisha, Raygina and Dixie Sylve; his stepchildren, Wanda, Charlotte and Wendall Thompson; and his siblings, Joseph Sr., Josephine, David Sr., Carl Sr., Calvin Sr., Jeneta, Elizabeth, Avis, Dwight Sr., Carolyn, Steven, Winona and Roshon. He is also survived by nine granddaughters, fifteen grandsons, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (17605 Hwy 15, Pointe à la Hache, LA 70082). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at the same location.
