He was predeceased by: his parents, Ranell Franklin and Helen Cole Franklin; and his siblings, Ranell Jr. (late Janice), Leo Sr., Diane, Lillie, Ronald, Donald and Ricky Franklin (Linda).
He is survived by: his close friend Bell Elaine Johnson; his daughter Yosha Franklin; his grandchildren, Samantha Gastinell, Sherry Dews, Daryl Johnson, Barrion, Brandon Watson and Dae'janea Gastinell; and his siblings, Shelia Williams, Carolyn Miller (late Kevin), David (Patsy), Willie (late Wanda), Buddy (Melissa) and Reginald Franklin (Judy). He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousin and devoted friends.
