He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Bridgewater and Freddie Bridgewater; and his siblings, Melva Faye Boone, Geneva Bridgewater, Francis Bridgewater, Patricia Huskey, Bernadette Lain, Lionel, Larry, Lawrence and James "Monroe" Bridgewater.
He is survived by: his children, Warren J. Bridgewater Jr. (Roxanne), Anneka Henderson (John), Veronica Bridgewater and Philip Bridgewater; his nieces and nephews, Deonka Mazie, Germaine Jack and James Bridgewater; his wife Madeline; his children, Deonka, Germain (Mark) and James (Edith); and his siblings, Mildred Roussell, Deloris Darrensburg, Daisy Wilson, Harry and Leonard Bridgewater. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
