He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Carter; his son Dennis Breaux; his brothers, Floyd, Ernest, James and Euria Carter; his grandchildren, Rodney Carter and Katelyn Johnson; and his son-in-law Joseph Green, Jr. (Williams).
He is survived by: his children, Lloyd, Jr. (Lillie), Johnell (Robbin), Morrell, Sr. (Ethel), Jeffrey, Morrisene Carter, Michael Muse, Barbara Green, Marion Maneau (Martin), Cheryl Landry (Kevin) and Cassandra Johnson (Arthur); and his siblings, Charles Carter and Florence Jacques. He is also survived by 1 son-in-law, Alvin Rome, Sr.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
