With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra K. Swearengin of Bentley, Louisiana, who passed away on September 10, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Edward Dousay and Odessa Welch Dousay of Elmer, Louisiana.; her husband George I. Swearengin; her children, Robin Broussard and Winton Barton; and her siblings, Bobby Dousay, Dewey Dousay and Jerry Dousay.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Goodwin (Randy) and David Barton (Christy); her stepchildren, Greg Swearengin (Marla) and Lori Swearengin Roussell (Troy); her son-in-law Greg Broussard; and her grandchildren, Adriane Brister (Hunter), Paige Seiley (Ethan), Ty Goodwin, Tucker Goodwin, Rock Barton (Faith), Monroe Barton, Kylan Barton (Lauren), Chris Barton, Gracie Gauthier (Peyton), Lane Barton, Peyton Nugent (Matt), Tristen Roussell, Lorin Roussell, Jake Swearengin and Marley Swearengin.
